BONNIE CLIPPER

We were thrilled to announce a special highlight of our preparatory meeting for the summit: a keynote address by Bonnie Clipper. With her extensive background as a Chief Nurse Executive and her visionary approach to nursing innovation, Dr. Clipper was an exceptional addition to our event.

As a trailblazer in nursing innovation and a leading influencer in healthcare, Bonnie Clipper had been at the forefront of transforming the nursing profession through technology and forward-thinking strategies. Her career journey included pivotal roles such as the inaugural Vice President of Innovation at the American Nurses Association, where she developed strategies to engage millions of nurses in the innovation space.

The preparatory meeting aimed to catalyze insightful dialogues on contemporary digital health challenges, assimilate best practices, and showcase cutting-edge tools & technologies, setting the stage for the main summit event. It brought together prominent stakeholders spanning Government, Statutory Bodies, Healthcare Providers, Payers, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, and the evolving Digital Health sector.

As a renowned global leader in digital health, he has played a significant role in the Guidelines Development Group for Digital Health at the World Health Organization (WHO) and contributed to the WHO's Global Report on the diffusion of eHealth. Prof. Gupta has also been instrumental in drafting the National Health Policy for India, furthering the advancement of digital health.

Prof. Gupta's academic credentials include a master's degree in innovation and change management. He currently divides his time between public policy work and advisory roles globally, significantly impacting the domain of digital health.

Stands at the forefront of digital health innovation, leveraging her role as a Visiting Professor at Imperial College London and Co-Chair of openEHR. With a rich background as CEO of the NHS Digital Academy and Director of Digital at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, Dunscombe has effectively implemented digital solutions that have had a profound impact on healthcare. Her work with the UK AI Council further emphasizes her commitment to ethical AI use in healthcare, marking her as a pivotal figure in shaping the future of digital health.

Director of Data and Analytics at the World Health Organization (WHO)

As the Director of Data and Analytics at the World Health Organization (WHO), plays a pivotal role in global health data management and analytics. He also imparts his expertise as an Adjunct Professor at University College Cork in Ireland. Before joining WHO, he was the Chief Statistician at UNCTAD and the Deputy Director-General at the Central Statistics Office in Ireland, highlighting his extensive experience in statistics and data.

Dr. MacFeely's influence extends to various key committees and advisory roles. He co-chairs the Committee of the Chief Statisticians of the UN System and the Committee for the Coordination of Statistical Activities, and is involved with the advisory boards of several prominent statistical and development indices. These roles demonstrate his substantial impact in shaping global data and statistical practices​.

Henrique Martins

Associate Professor at ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon

With a medical degree from the New University of Lisbon and specialization in Internal Medicine, has an extensive academic background, including a Master in HIV/AIDS and a PhD in Management from the University of Cambridge. He also pursued a Master in Law at the Portuguese Catholic University.

Professionally, Martins was President of SPMS, leading Portugal's eHealth/IT authority, and has been involved in significant national and EU digital health initiatives.
